What an unusual find this is! Court Ledger. The ledger itself is in good shape for the age, bound in what appears to be 1/2 sheep over marbled boards. The pages are fairly clean, but do have a few occasional stains.

Official invitation from the US Supreme Court printed on a cream 4.5 by 6 card with Court seal. The special sitting of the Court at which Judge John G. Roberts, Jr., took the oath of office to become Chief Justice of the United States was held on October 3, 2005. A separate invitation to the reception will accompany this invitation.
