UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT v. American Tobacco Co. Case DECISION 1911 Newspaper Offered is an original, historic, & collectible old newspaper: EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, May 29, 1911 * United States Supreme Court case decision * United States v. American Tobacco Co. The front page has a banner headline: «DECISION OF SUPREME COURT IS AGAINST THE TOBACCO TRUST» with subheads. (see) Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the «wood pulp» era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper. Complete with 12 pages, small library stamps within the masthead, irregular along the spine, generally nice. Please Note: All of our offerings are 100% authentic! We do not offer reprints or reproductions of any kind. They are guaranteed to be original! Links to Archival Storage Options & Certificates of Authenticity Are Below! Historical reports may be beautiful or ugly, but they are always informative. While we rejoice in the beautiful (heroic, discovery, amazing feats, etc.), we at Historys Newsstand also offer «the ugly» for we are determined to learn from the wrongs of the past – understanding, to do so, we must be willing to look these wrongs directly in the face and shout «NO MORE!». It is for this reason many Black Americans collect historic slave ads, Jews collect reports regarding the Holocaust, women collect coverage of the Womens Suffrage Movement, etc.. If you find any to be offensive, we agree! Hopefully this is an indication we are moving in the right direction. Domestic Shipping Policy… For this specific item, A U.S. winner pays $10.00 S&H. This great picture collage salutes the U.S. Capital. The collage features a Commemorative Cover of the stamp issued to honor the US Capital. Overall, a great collectible for any political buff. The size of this matted picture is 8″ x 10″ and will fit any 8″ x 104″ inch frame. (a standard size). I make all these collages by hand. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage. I then design each picture individually and lay out the design on the mat. Finally, I cut each mat based on that design and assemble the collage. Shipping and Handling is free for the United States. I accept PayPal as payment which is due within seven days of purchase. I make a daily trip to the Post Office so your item will normally ship within 24 hours after payment is received. Regardless of how many items you purchase at one time, you will only be charged one shipping fee. All other items are shipped free. If the E-Bay invoice does not reflect this, please contact me for a correct invoice. Customers outside the US, please contact me for shipping costs to your country. Please note that we do not mark items purchased as gifts nor are we responsible for any import duties, taxes and charges that might be incurred. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool. Antique Engravings, Prints, Maps and Newspapers sells only original/authentic material. Museums, Historical Societies, Universities, Educators, Movie sets Menu Engravings Newspapers Antiques Maps Civil-War-Prints Baseball Thomas-Nast Hunting-Prints Old-West-Engravings JUDGES, LAWYERS, UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT ROOM INJUNCTION CASE RECONSTRUCTION Description This genuine antique wood-cut engraving is titled «UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT ROOM, WASHINGTON CITY–CHIEF-JUSTICE CHASE AND ASSOCIATES HEARING THE ARGUMENTS IN THE MISSISSIPPI INJUNCTION CASE», published in «Harper’s Weekly» April 1867. This dated engraving from the year of 1867 is 11 x 15 inches in size with wide margins. It is in excellent condition, highly displayable and ready for framing and is guaranteed to be as described. The lines you may see in some of the older engraving/prints are from the adjoining of woodblocks to make/produce the complete image. In order to speed up the process of wood-cut engravings, several artists carved a section of the block of wood then the blocks were adjoined, stamped in ink then onto this page. Also occasional spots or foxing are usual for these older engravings. They do not detract from the value or splendor of the engraving but only attest to it’s authenticity! This beautiful and decorative antique engraving would make a great addition to any Home, Office or Restaurant decor!
