U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter signed 4 1/2x 6 1/2-inch color photograph. Matted overall dimensions 8×10-inches. Matted photographs purchased at the Supreme Court Gift Ship from Bessie on February 23, 2005. She called Justice Souter’s clerk to ask if he would sign. He agreed.
Of particular interest is the stars on the flag. Just an interesting bit of info from a history nerd.
At one point they owned the «Janney House» «Janney Hill» in Hamilton/Round Hill, VA. His grandmother wasFrances Henderson Smith Morrison, daughter ofFrancis Henney Smith, who was the first superintendent of VMI.
